I am a girl passionately patriotic who has a degree in early American history and who so loves the Founding Fathers that I gave my baby boy the second middle name of Adams because I so revere the man from whom I took the name. When someone attacks my country- I take it as a personal offense. And when someone attacks my country in the heart of it's history on a patriotic holiday- I want to retaliate. But as every woman scorned knows, the best way to get back at someone who broke your heart is to get fit, put your game face on, dress up, and make life even better than it was before. So that is what we will do.
I was awake at four in the morning and my mind started racing...call it sleep deprivation or inspiration but no matter the name for it, it happened. And this is the result. I designed these shirts to prove to the world that I am going to keep running for those who no longer can. I am going to prove to the world that I will keep running no matter what and they will never break my spirit or cripple me with fear. I am an American. We get back up. We put our game faces on and keep going.
All of the proceeds from these shirts are going to the families who were injured from the bombings at the Boston Marathon and to the Boston Police Department to help the good men and women there as much as possible.
